Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite launched with 6.26-inch Full HD+ display, Snapdragon 660

The Mi 8 Lite comes in Aurora Blue, Sunset Gold and Midnight Black colours and is available for order from today. It will go on sale from 25 September.

Xiaomi has today launched Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth aka Mi 8 Lite smartphone in China The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is the watered-downvariant of the company’s flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi 8 which was launched earlier this year.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth comes in three variants – 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at 1399 Yuan which is approx. Rs 14,833, 1699 Yuan which is approx. Rs 18,014 and 1999 Yuan which is approx. Rs 21,195 respectively. It comes in Aurora Blue, Sunset Gold and Midnight Black colours and is available for order from today. It will go on sale from 25 September.

Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite

Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a 6.26-inch Full notched display with 1080×2280 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. For the hardware, the device is powered by Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 660 with Adreno 512 GPU.

The smartphone has horizontally aligned dual rear cameras with a combination of 12-megapixel primary sensor with flash, 1.4μm pixel size, f/1.9 and 5-megapixel secondary sensor. For the front, it has a 24-megapixel camera for selfie and video calling with Sony IMX576 sensor, 5-element lens and beautify features.

The Mi 8 Lite is backed by a 3,250mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and run on 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 10 on top. It has a circular fingerprint scanner on the back for security. The device measures 156.4 x 75.8 x 7.5 mm and weighs 169 grams. Connectivity features are Dual VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) 2×2 MIMO , 5 LE, GPS + and Type-C.
