Xiaomi has just recently launched it’s in-house Pinecone Surge S1 Processor along with the Mi 5C and the Redmi 4X smartphones in China. Now, Xiaomi’s eagerly-awaited Mi 6 smartphone is in the pipeline for which we have already seen so many leaks and rumours. While the exact launch date of Xiaomi Mi 6 is not confirmed yet, a new report has surfaced online which reveals the launch date of the device.
The report says that the Xiaomi’s next smartphone will be announced next month on April 16. Moreover, it further highlights that the Mi 6 will be the first Chinese smartphone to be powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC and the Chipset will not be under-clocked on the Mi 6. Generally, Xiaomi unveils one variant of its flagship smartphone featuring an under-clocked processor.
As per the report, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will feature a ceramic body and 5.2-inch LCD display with a 2.5D glass. It will have the same camera resolution as that of recently announced Sony Xperia XZ Premium.

Apart from these details, the Mi 6 pricing has also been revealed. There will be three variants – 4GB RAM with 32GB internal memory, 4GB with 64GB Internal Memory and 6GB RAM with 128GB internal memory. Price will be in the range of 1999 Yuan (which is approximately Rs 19,362) to 2500 Yuan (which is approximately Rs 24,221) for all the variants. The 6GB RAM variant will come with a ceramic body.
