Xiaomi’s Black Shark gaming phone was announced earlier this year in China. Now seems like the company is working on its next gaming phone which is dubbed Black Shark 2. The Black Shark 2 has been spotted on TENAA certification website bearing the model number AWM-A0.
As per the images listed on TENAA, the Black Shark 2 will come with a dual camera setup on the rear side. It will also feature a fingerprint sensor at the back. The rear panel also shows an engraved green colour arc, which can be a coloured LED light or a liquid cooling system.
The front side of the Black Shark shows the display with a power button on the left side of the device. The volume rocker and a dedicated button (slider) are placed on the right side of the device.
As far as specifications are concerned, the TENAA listing reveals that the smartphone will feature a 5.99-inch display with 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU and it will be backed up by a 4000 mAh battery. The listing shows that the Black Shark 2 will feature dimensions of 160 x 75.26 x 8.7mm. The listing currently carry only a few specification details. Other specifications are likely to surface in coming days.
To recall, the specs of Xiaomi Black Shark, the device features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, 2.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor along with Adreno 630 GPU. It comes in two variants – 6GB + 64GB of storage and 8GB + 128GB of storage. The camera comes with a combination of the 12-megapixel sensor and 20-megapixel sensor. For the front, there is a 20-megapixel shooter. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and it is backed by a 4000mAh battery Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
