The Facebook-owned company, WhatsApp has over 1 billion users to stay connected with their family and friends. And over the time, more people are using the application to communicate with business companies as well. To keep this in mind, the Facebook is working on the WhatsApp’s Business standalone app.
In a new WhatsApp FAQ, the company has announced more details about the upcoming WhatsApp application, related to the differenttype of Verification of accounts. To start with authentication, WhatsApp said to check the details on its level and later to verify, the profile will be marked with a Green Check Badge.

If a business account is seen with a Gray Checkmark Badge, means that Whatsapp has confirmed that the phone number of this profile matched the contact number of the Business organisation. And in case of an unverified business account, a Grey Question Mark Badge will appear.
Further, the company has provided tools for users to control experience with businesses. One can block business accounts and report them as spam at any time, right within the chat. To do so open the chat > tap the Menu Button > Report spam or Block.
Meanwhile,has launched two new features exclusively for its iOS app – Lock Record Button and a new Picture-in-Picture mode for YouTube videos.
