Vodafone has released a new plan for its prepaid users in India. The plan will cost Rs 229 and sits between Vodafone’s Rs 199 and Rs 255 prepaid recharge packs; the latter was announced earlier last month.
The new Rs 229 Vodafone prepaid plan offers a validity of 28 days offering Unlimited Local, STD & Roaming calls within India during the course of the plan. The Rs 229 also offers 2GB of 4G/3G data per day for 28 days, unlike the Rs 255 plan which provides users with 2.5GB of daily data benefits.
Additionally, users recharging with the Rs 229 plan will be able to get free 100 SMS per day. The plan also gives users access to live TV, movies and more for free through the Vodafone Play app.
Prior to this, Vodafone started offering free doorstep delivery of prepaid SIMs for future users in India. In order to avail this benefit, potential customers need to go to Vodafone’s official website and fill a form to get a new SIM right at their location. The operator also launched a Rs 139 prepaid plan with unlimited calling and 2GB total data for 28 days.
Besides that, Vodafone Idea announced last week that it has exclusively partnered with Hyundai to offer its services for the debut of Blue Link Connected Technology on the Hyundai Venue, which the automaker says is India’s first connected SUV. The partnership will allow the vehicle to offer safety, security and vehicle management through Vodafone Idea’s internet-based services.
