Just days after launching the Rs 351 plan for its prepaid users, Vodafone has now introduced a new plan for its users under the postpaid scheme. The new plan is named as the “RED iPhone Forever” plan which can be availed on a monthly rental of Rs 649.
The Vodafone RED iPhone Forever offers users data benefits of 90GB per month which can be accessed throughout the 30 days and is not limited on a daily basis. In addition to a monthly allowance of 90GB, the plan offers a data carry forward of up to 200GB and unlimited local, STD and notional Roaming calls across any network.
Users subscribing to this Rs 649 postpaid plan will be entitled to an iPhone Forever Programme which basically offers users replacement, repair or upgrade options when using an iPhone. The offer can be accessed by users with all iPhone models dating back to the iPhone 5s, however, iPhones older than 18 months will only be eligible for repair and upgrade and not a replacement.
For an iPhone purchase made within the last 18 months, users will also be able to apply for a replacement on damaging a phone for a small fee as compared to a larger payment when going to an authorised service centre yourself. For instance, iPhone 7 users will only have to pay as low as Rs 2,000 excluding tax when repairing or replacing their damaged device.
Additionally, the Rs 649 iPhone Forever plan offers users 12 months of live TV, movies and shows on Vodafone Play, an annual subscription to Amazon Prime which will offer free delivery through Amazon and access to Prime Music and Prime Movies. Vodafone will also be bundling additional vouchers across several retail brands on a monthly basis.
