Vivo X23 reveals itself on official website with a tiny notch

The Vivo X23 will employ the fourth generation in-display sensor on the front which will also employ a tiny waterdrop-like notch above the display. There's a unique glass at the back that adopts a 3D gradient finish in various colour options that include Blue and Purple.

As was previously hinted by its Jovi voice assistant, the Vivo X23 has found its way to being listed on Vivo’s official site. The successor to the X21 also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is currently available on pre-order in China.

The Vivo X23 will employ the fourth generation in-display sensor on the front which will also employ a tiny waterdrop-like notch above the display. This notch with the minimal bezels around the display will offer a screen-to-body ratio of 91.2 percent. Other design elements include the unique glass at the back which adopts a 3D gradient finish in various colour options that include Blue and Purple.

Since the screen will last of an under-display fingerprint scanner, we can assume it’s an AMOLED panel on the front. The dual camera setup at the back with a super lens is vertically aligned though we’re yet to know the imaging strength of the two lenses as well as the front-facing camera.

Vivo X23

Judging by the previous leaks, the Vivo X23 will be powered by a Snapdragon 670/710 with as much as 8GB of RAM, while some reports did claim a total of 10GB memory on the Vivo handset. The front camera will be enabled with TOF 3D depth camera technology to enable support for 3D facial scanning. The device will be powered by a 22.5-watt fat charging adapter which connects to the phone via a USB-C port.

There’s no word on the pricing of the Vivo X23 but we’ll certainly know more in the new few days since the phone is already up for pre-orders. Currently, the Chinese manufacturer is bundling a JBL Horizon speaker with the device.
