Vivo recently launched its latest smartphone, the Vivo V9, in India. Now, according to a Mumbai-based retailer, Mahesh Telecom, the V9 has received a price cut in the country.
The smartphone now comes with a price tag of Rs 20,990, against its original price of Rs 22,990. This makes a price cut of Rs 2,000 on the smartphone. To recall, the brand introduced the smartphone in March this year in the country.
The major highlight of the smartphone is the bezel-less display with an iPhone X-like notch. The phone boasts a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and it has 1.75mm slim bezels. The device comes loaded with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 octa-core Processor clocked at 2.2GHz along Adreno 506 GPU.
The device is backed by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via micro SD card slot. The Vivo V9 features dual rear cameras with a combination of 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors along with LED flash. For the front, there will be a 24-megapixel shooter with a wide-angle lens. The rear camera features are Slow Motion, AI Face Beauty and 4K video. The front camera features are AI Face Beauty, Gender detection, AR Sticker, Face beauty video, Camera Filter, HDR. The smartphone will feature Face Unlock and there will be a fingerprint sensor as well.
The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo with company’s own FunTouch OS 4.0 running on top of it. It is backed by a 3260mAh battery with fast charging support. On the connectivity front, the Vivo V9 supports triple slot, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS, dual SIM and Micro USB 2.0. The handset measures 154.81 x 75.03 x 7.89 mm and weighs 150 grams.
