Vivo is all set to launch its new S-series smartphone in China on November 14, which is named as Vivo S5. Now in a new development, two Vivo smartphones with the model number V1932A and V1932T have been found listed on TENAA certification website, revealing its key specifications. These phones are most likely be the two variants of upcoming Vivo S5.
As per the listing, the phone with model number V1932A shows Penta rear camera setup (48MP+8MP+5MP+2MP+5MP), while the phone with model number V1932T shows triple rear camera setup (48MP+8MP+5MP). Rest of specifications for both of the devices (V1932A and V1932T) are identical. Recently, few renders images were leaked, which showed the smartphone will come with a triple camera setup, while the phone was also spotted bearing quad-camera setup in a video interview of Vivo’s brandambassador.

As far as other specifications are concerned, the Vivo S5 (V1932A/T) will have 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED Display with a Resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and it will come equipped with 2.3GHz Octa-core processor, which could be Snapdragon 712 10nm SoC. It will have 8GB of RAM with128GB/256GB of internal storage and will have 32-megapixel in-display.
The phone will get the power from 4100mAh (typical)/4010mAh (minimum) battery with 22.5W Fast charging support (based on 3C certification). The phone will measure 157.9×73.92×8.64(mm) and weighs 188 grams. The Vivo S5 will run on Android 9 OS and will have an in-display fingerprint scanner. Other sensors will include Gravity sensor, distance sensor, and light sensor. Connectivity options will include VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS and USB Type-C port.
Recently, we have seen the three alleged render images of the Vivo S5 bearing triple rear cameras, which could be none other than the smartphone with model number V1932T. As far as the other variant with model number V1932A is concerned, there could be an error in the listing and might be launched with quad-camera setup, which we have earlier spotted in a Video, where the Cai Xukun, Vivo Brand ambassador, was seen holding the S5 smartphone. There is also a possibility, where the listing is correct and one of the variant might comes loaded with Penta camera setup.
Yesterday, the Vivo has opened the reservations for Vivo S5’s iKun edition on its official website, which we would expect to have Penta or quad-camera setup, while the standard edition is expected to have a quad camera setup.
