Vivo S5 allegedly spotted with quad camera setup

Looks like, Vivo is all set to launch its new S-series smartphone in China in the coming days, as a new mysterious smartphone has been spotted in a Video interview with Cai Xukun, a Chinese singer, dancer, rapper and songwriter. He performs as a solo artist as well as the leader of the boy’s group, Nine Percent. Most importantly, he is also the brand ambassador for Vivo S1 series smartphones in China.

Moreover, as per Weibo users, this smartphone could be launched as Vivo S5, it means the company will be skipping the S2, S3, S4 and jumping straight to S5.

In the Video, the alleged Vivo S5 spotted in blue-green gradient finish and looks to have a diagonal shaped camera module with four camera alongside an flash. As of now, there is no official detail available on this upcoming smartphone. So, we advise our users to take this as a pinch of salt.

Just to refresh, Vivo right now has two smartphone under its S-series, Vivo S1 and Vivo S1 Pro, which were launched in China earlier this year.

Vivo S1 has a 6.53-inch full (1080 x 2340 pixel) display, screen-to-body ratio of 90.95 percent, an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, powered by MediaTek Helio P70 processor, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, a 3940mAh battery with dual-engine support and runs Funtouch OS 9 based on 9.0 Pie. On the camera front, the phone has a triple-camera setup with 12-megapixel primary as the sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 5-megapixel tertiary sensor. On the front, it has a 24.8-megapixel pop-up selfie camera. The connectivity options include VoLTE, support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, 2.0, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack.

On the other hand, Vivo S1 Pro features a 6.39-inches (2340×1080 pixels) display, equipped with octa-core Qualcomm snapdragon 675AIE SoC, option to expand the storage up to 256GB Via card, 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB of storage, an in-display fifth-generation photoelectric fingerprint sensor, runs on Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9 Pie and gets its juices from a 3700mAh non-removable battery. For the optics, it has triple cameras on the rear with the combination of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor and a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, it carries a 32-megapixel pop-up selfie shooter. Connectivity options include Dual SIM with dual standby, WiFi, VoLTE, GPS, with GLONASS, and a MicroUSB port2.0.
