Almost all the devices of Xiaomi in the market today are still running on Android Marshmallow, except Mi Max which received Android 7.1.1 Nougat-based MIUI beta update in June. The device was launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and MIUI 7, but later got updated to MIUI 8.
Meanwhile, an unannounced Xiaomi smartphone which goes by the model name ‘Xiaomi Riva’ has been spotted on a GeekBench Benchmarking website with Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The listing has spilt some beans on the expected specifications of the upcoming smartphone.
In the GeekBench listing, the Xiaomi Riva got 560 points in single-core test and in muli-core test it received 916 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Xiaomi Riva has 3GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon (either 425 or 427) 1.40 GHz quad-core processor. From the specs, we expect Xiaomi Riva could be an entry-level or mid-range smartphone.
There is no information about the pricing and availability of the device as yet, however, given the fact that it has been spotted GeekBench, it will not be long before we see some new leaks revealing the pricing as well. So we request you to stay updated on our website for the same.
