Xiaomi Riva with Android Nougat spotted on GeekBench

From the specs, we expect Xiaomi Riva could be an entry-level or mid-range smartphone.

An unannounced Xiaomi smartphone which goes by the model name ‘Xiaomi Riva’ has been spotted on a GeekBench website. The listing has spilt some beans on the expected specifications of the upcoming smartphone.

In the GeekBench listing, the Xiaomi Riva got 560 points in single-core test and in muli-core test it received 916 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Xiaomi Riva has 3GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon (either 425 or 427) 1.40 GHz quad-core processor. The handset is based on the 7.1.2 Nougat operating system. From the specs, we expect Xiaomi Riva could be an entry-level or mid-range smartphone.

There is no information about the pricing and availability of the device as yet, however, given the fact that it has been spotted GeekBench, it will not be much long before we see some new leaks revealing the pricing as well. So we request you to stay updated on our website for the same.

In May this year, a device called Xioami Jason was also found to be listed on GFXBench benchmarking website. As per the listing on GFXBench, Xiaomi Jason has a 5.1-inch display that has 1920×1080 pixels resolution and five finger gesture support. Besides as per the listing, it has Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 2.2 GHz octa-core processor, 6GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage out of which 50GB will be reserved for the users, Adreno 512 and Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. The listing, however, does not mention anything about the battery.

As per the benchmark listing, the Xiaomi Jason has a 12-megapixel camera and a flash on its rear panel while a 4-megapixel camera is in its front for selfies. The GFX listing shows that the device has connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, and WiFi. As per the listing, the device has accelerometer, light, proximity and gyroscope as well.
