Sharp launched its bezel-less smartphone, the Aquos S2 in China in August this year. Now seems like the company is soon going to launch its successor which is dubbed as Sharp Aquos S3. The new smartphone has been certified by NCC, Taiwan’s certification body.
As per the NCC certification listing, the Sharp Aquos S3 carries a model number of FS8032. It also shows that the device will feature a vertically dual camera and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Sharp Aquos S3 was earlier spotted on Geekbench Benchmarking site which revealed that the smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 630 chipset, 4GB RAM and Android 8.0 Oreo. In the single-core test, it has scored 880 while in multi-core test, it has scored 4237.
Recently, Sharp FS8015 was spotted on the Chinese certification website, TENAA. As per the TENAA listing, the Sharp FS8015 has a 5.99-inch full HD+ display with 2160×1080 pixels resolution and is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor. It is speculated that the phone could be powered by Snapdragon 660 or Snapdragon 630 SoC. The device is backed by a 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage with expandable storage via micro sd card, a dual rear camera setup of 12-megapixel with LED flash and 13-megapixel, a 16-megapixel front camera and a 3,110 mAh battery. The image shows that the smartphone sports a metal unibody and the fingerprint sensor sits at the rear panel beneath the rear camera.

The phone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system and the images reveal that it has the only Black colour version. Connectivity options of the device include dual SIM, 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS. The phone is 148 mm tall, 74 mm wide and 7.98 mm thin and it weighs 167.4 grams, according to the TENAA listing. It also has Gravity, Distance and Light Sensors as per the listing.
