Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) announced with Exynos 7904 SoC and Android 9 Pie

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) runs on Samsung One UI based on Android 9 Pie.

South Korean giant, Samsung has quietly unveiled Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) that features an S Pen. The pricing of the tablet has not revealed by the company yet. However, the tablet will be available in the UK, New Zealand, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam. The tablet is available in grey and black colours.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features an 8.0-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The tablet is powered by Exynos 7904 with 3GB and 32GB of internal storage with expandable memory up to 512GB with microSD.

Out of the box, the tablet runs on Samsung One based on 9 Pie. The S Pen is placed at the bottom right corner of the device it is the same pen which is used in Galaxy Note 8. The tablet has an 8MP rear camera with flash and 5MP front-facing camera.

There is no fingerprint scanner on this tablet, nor is there is any face unlock feature in the device. It is backed up by 4200mAh battery that promises up to 11 hours of web browsing. The Tab A 8.0 weighs in at 325 grams and has an overall thickness of 8.9mm. Connectivity features include LTE support, Wi-Fi ac, 5.0, USB 2.0 and a 3.5mm jack.

Last month, Samsung launched two tablets – Galaxy Tab S5e and Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019). The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e comes in Black, Silver and Gold colours. It is priced at $399.99 (Rs. 28,560 approx.) for the WiFi version and 479 Euros (US$ 541 / Rs. 38,599 approx.) for the LTE version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) comes in Black, Gold and Silver colours. It is priced at 210 Euros (US$ 237 / Rs. 16,960) for the Wi-Fi version and 270 Euros (US$ 305 / Rs. 21,830) for the version.
