Seems like Samsung is getting ready for the launch of its Galaxy J7 (2017) smartphone soon in the United States. As per the reports, the device has got the all necessary approval from Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in the US.
The FCC document, however, does not reveal anything but it includes the ID of the device which is SM-J730 which is the model number of the Galaxy J7 (2017). Sadly no major specifications are revealed in the listing.
Recently, the Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 recently received WiFi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA) and Bluetooth certification with version 4.1 from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) as well. Sadly, the listings did not reveal anything about the hardware specifications of the smartphone. The smartphone boasts the same model number SM-J730FM in the FCC certification which was featuring in the wiFi and Bluetooth certifications as well.
As per earlier multiple reports, the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) will feature 5.5 inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution. It will be powered by Snapdragon 425 Soc/Samsung Exynos 7870 Chipset coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM. The device will be boosted by an 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. It is also expected to come with 3000 mAh battery and will run on Android Nougat operating system.
Recalling the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016), the device was launched in India for Rs 15,990 in May 2016. It comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) AMOLED display. It is powered by a 1.6 GHz Octa-Core Processor with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded to 128GB via a micro SD card. The device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and packs in a 3,300 mAh battery. Moving on to the camera, it features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. This dual SIM smartphone also offers 4G-LTE, GPS/A-GPS, WiFi, NFC Bluetooth 4.0 and a microUSB 2.0 port.
