Alleged Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) receives Bluetooth certification

The smartphone is expected to run on Android Nougat operating system.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 which was recently received WiFi certification from the WiFi Alliance (WFA) has now received certification with version 4.1 from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) as well. Sadly, the listing does not reveal anything about the hardware specifications of the smartphone.

The smartphone boasts the same model number SM-J730FM which was featuring in the wiFi certification as well.

As per earlier multiple reports, the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) will feature 5.5 inch full display with 1920 x 1080 resolution. It will be powered by Snapdragon 425 Soc/Samsung Exynos 7870 coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM. The device will be boosted by an 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. It is also expected to come with 3000 mAh battery and will run on Nougat operating system.

Recalling the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016), the device was launched in India for Rs 15,990 in May 2016. It comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) AMOLED display. It is powered by a 1.6 GHz Octa-Core with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded to 128GB via a micro SD card. The device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and packs in a 3,300 mAh battery. Moving on to the camera, it features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. This dual SIM smartphone also offers 4G-LTE, GPS/A-GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and a microUSB 2.0 port.
