Samsung has scheduled a launch event on April 10 where it will introduce new Galaxy A series of smartphones including Galaxy A90 (or A80 as some have reported it might be called). Now ahead of the launch, full specifications of the phone have been leaked.
Weibo user Martian-V has leaked the specifications of the Galaxy A90. As per the leaks, the smartphone will have a 6.7 inch AMOLED Display with a 2400 x 1080 resolution. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7150 (however, Qualcomm has not launched this Chipset yet) octa-core Processor with two cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six cores clocked at 1.7GHz.
The leak does not reveal the RAM and storage of the phone but it is expected that it will be available in multiple variants. The phone will come with three rear cameras – a 48MP f/2.0 primary sensor, an 8MP f/2.4 sensor, and a ToF camera.
It also confirms that the phone will come with a “pop-up rotating” camera design which is inline with earlier leaks that Samsung Galaxy A90 will come with a pop-up selfie camera design. The phone will come with a sliding as well as the rotating camera system. It means that the same sensor will function for selfie shots and for the rear camera.
The leak further reveals that the Galaxy A90 will also support 25W Fast charging and USB Power Delivery. The phone measures 76.5 x 165 x 9 millimeters and weighs 219 grams.
