Samsung yesterday launched Galaxy A50, Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A10 smartphones in India. Now seems like the company is also working on a new A-series smartphone. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy A40, the smartphone has popped up on SamsungGermany website suggesting an imminent launch.
As per the listing, the Galaxy A40 will have model number SM-A405FN/DS where the ‘DS’ stands for dual SIM support. The device is expected to fit in between the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50. Since the phone has been spotted on the German website, it’s likely to release in the European market first.
Sadly the website listing does not provide any information on the specifications of Galaxy A40. However, an earlier GeekBench listing revealed that the phone will feature Exynos 7885. The octa-core chipset is accompanied with 4GB RAM. As for the software, the phone is running on Android Pie out of the box. The display size and battery details are not known at the moment.
Meanwhile, Samsung is also planning for the pop-up selfie camera design on the Galaxy A90. Popular tipster OnLeaks has alsoleaked new information on the Galaxy A90. He has claimed that the phone will come with a sliding as well as the rotating camera system. It means that the same sensor will function for selfie shots and for the rear camera. The tipster also mentions the phone will be a mix between the Oppo Find X and the Oppo N1.
