Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 which was launched in India last month with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, has now been spotted on GFXBench bench-marking website with the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. This means that the company is testing the latest software and may release the Android Nougat update for the device soon. The device is listed with the model name Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 (SM-A720x).
The smartphone is priced at Rs 33,490 and features a 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED 2.5D curved display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by a Octa-Core 1.9 GHz Exynos 7880 Processor with Mali-T830MP3 GPU. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable upto 256GB via microSD card.
On the camera front, the Galaxy A7 2017 sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9, 27mm, autofocus, LED flash, 1080p video recording, and another 16-megapixel sensor with f/1.9 on the front for selfies and video chats. The device gets is strength from a 3600 mAh battery with Fast charging support and also houses a fingerprint scanner. Besides, the smartphone offers Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. The device measures 156.8 x 77.6 x 7.9 mm.
