Today in an event in Mumbai, Samsung has finally launched its 2017 Galaxy A series in India. The Galaxy A series was first unveiled back in January 2017 and was available for purchase in Russia, Malaysia and many similar markets. The South Korean giant, however, skipped the Galaxy A3 and launched only the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 today in India. The Galaxy A5 (2017) is priced at Rs 28,990 while the Galaxy A7 (2017) is priced at Rs 33,490. Samsung will sell the new A series via both offline and online channels starting 15th March.
The major highlight of both the devices is their glass built which is curved at the back as well. Apart from this, both the smartphones come with IP68 certification which means they can be submerged in 1-meter deep water for up to 30 minutes.
