The Mukesh Ambani-led telecom operator is now testing a new Triple Play plan for its GigaFiber FTTH service offering several benefits including free data and entertainment options.
Reliance Jio has started testing a new Triple Play plan for its GigaFiber FTTH service which can be accessed the logging into the GigaFiber account dashboard. The single Triple Play plan which is being demoed offers a validity of 28 days with 100GB of data at 100Mbps.
Additional benefits inside the Jio GigaFiber Triple Play plan include unlimited voice calling, subscription to Jio Home TV and access to Jio app suite, reports TelecomTalk. Jio Home TV is what was previously rumoured to be Jio’s IPTV service and with that confirmed, we can expect the Jio GigaFiber service to club billing from internet, TV, and mobile into a single one.
The Jio Triple Play plan for GigaFiber FTTH service is currently being tested by employees of Reliance Jio and we can expect the service to be made official in the near future.
Besides that,Reliance Jio started rolling out the Celebration Packto multiple users in India earlier this monthproviding 2GB of free data to its user base. Last month, it announced the launch of the JioGroupTalk app on Android phones. The JioGroupTalk app can be used to make group calls to your friends and family through VoLTE. The app is available on the Google Play Store, comes with a simple interface and can be used to make group conference calls with up to 10 members. With JioGroupTalk, users will no longer need to add users one by one as they can select multiple contacts in one Go.
