Realme 5 Pro to reportedly feature Snapdragon 712, 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor

Realme 5 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 712 processor. The phone will have quad-camera setup with a 48MP Sony IMX586 as the primary camera.

Earlier in the day, we reported that Realme will be launching Realme 5 series including Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro in India on August 20. Now some specs of the Realme 5 Pro have surfaced online.

Popular tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has revealed quite a few specs of the upcoming smartphone on his twitter handle. As per his tweet, the Realme 5 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 712 processor. The phone will have quad-camera setup with a 48MP Sony IMX586 as the primary camera.

Apart from the primary sensor, the phone will likely have an ultrawide angle camera, portrait lens and a super as well. Further, the tweet reveals that the Realme 5 Pro will have an with a waterdrop notch. The phone will also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. Apart from this, no other specifications like the battery, operating system, storage and its screen size have been revealed at the moment.

Meanwhile, Flipkart has started teasing the launch of Realme 5 series on August 20. The Flipkart listing confirmed that the Realme 5 series will come with quad rear cameras. The primary lens will be for low-light images with a large and size, the ultra-wide-angle lens will be able to capture 119-degree field of view, Super Macro lens for capturing 4cm closeup images and the fourth depth sensor for portrait shots.

The company is said to introduce Realme X Pro which will house the quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary shooter. The phone is likely to be announced before Diwali in India, and not on 20th of this month.
