Realme 5 pro confirmed to have 48MP Quad Camera setup

The company has also confirmed to launch one more product at the launch event, which could be none other than Realme 5.

Realme is all set to introduce Realme 5 series smartphones in India on August 20. Now in a new development, the company has confirmed through its official Twitter account that one of the smartphones will be Realme 5 Pro and will house a 48MP Quad Camera setup. Moreover, the company has also confirmed that they will launch one more smartphone, apart from Realme 5 and 5 Pro, at the launch event.

The twitter post reads “Introducing #realme5Pro, India’s first 48MP Quad Camera smartphone in its segment! Witness the launch of the #QuadCameraSpeedster at 12:30 PM, 20th August. #JoinTheReal5quad One more product on the way.

Recently, Flipkart also started teasing the launch of Realme 5 series on August 20. As per Flipkart product page, the smartphone’s primary lens will be for low-light images with a large and pixel size, the ultra-wide-angle lens will be able to capture 119-degree field of view, Super for capturing 4cm closeup images and the fourth depth sensor for portrait shots.

Yesterday, few of the key specifications were also leaked for Realme 5 Pro by a Sudhanshu Ambhore. As per tipster, the Realme 5 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 712 processor. The phone will have quad-camera setup with a 48MP Sony IMX586 as the primary camera, which is now confirmed by the company itself. Moreover, the smartphone is expected to have with Waterdrop Notch design and will house an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The company is also confirmed to launch another smartphone bearing quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary shooter, which could be dubbed as Realme X Pro and likely to be launched before Diwali in India.
