Realme has announced Android 9.0 Pie beta update for its two smartphones, the Realme 2 and Realme C1, in India. The company has started enrolling users to try the latest beta build.
In order to try out the beta builds, users need to enrol themselves in the Beta programme. The company says that the Beta program features a limited number of spots, so one needs to hurry up.
One need to go Realme community page and open the Google Forums of the respective devices in order to enrol for the beta build. Users need to give their email ID and Realme smartphone IMEI number along with the username of the Realme community and more. Once the user is enrolled, he/she will get the beta build via an OTA update.
The company has revealed as it is a beta build, so one might notice lags and bugs. It is also important to backup all the data before installing the new beta build on your Realme 2 and Realme C1. The company has detailed the changelog of the new update and you can check it here:

Realme previously promised that it will be rolling out Android 9.0 Pie update to all of its current smartphones in June 2019. Realme revealed that the Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro, Realme C1 and Realme U1, all will be updated to Google’s latest Android 9 Pie operating system. The company has already rolled out Android Pie update to the Realme 2 Pro, while Realme 1 and Realme U1 got Android Pie Beta builds.
