Last week, we have reported about the unveiling of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X smartphone in China. At that point of time company didn’t reveal the pricing on the said smartphone, but now the pricing of the Redmi Note 4X smartphone has been officially unveiled with more insight on the smartphone.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X will be available in three variants. However, as of now only one variant (3GB RAM and 32GB ROM) will be available for purchase starting February 14, Valentine’s Day. The standard model has a price tag of 999 Yuan (approximately Rs 9,724) and will go on sale on February 14 at 10AM, whereas for Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Hatsune Miku Limited Edition one has to pay of 1,299 Yuan (approximately Rs 12,644) and will go on sale at 2PM on the same date, which is February 14. The smartphone will be available in Hatsune Miku Green, Cherry Powder, Champagne Gold, Platinum Silver Grey, and Matte Black colour options.
Xiaomi has introduced Hatsune Miku Limited Edition of Redmi Note 4X in partnership with Japanese firm Crypton Future Media. The Limited Edition will come bundled with Hatsune Miku branded back cover and a Mi power bank. Moreover, the Limited Edition smartphone has an unique code with Hatsune Miku’s signature at the back of the device.
Interestingly, the tech specifications of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X are identical to the Redmi Note 4 smartphone, which was launched in India on January 19th.
As far as tech specifications are concerned, Redmi Note 4X offers a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) 2.5D curved glass display and a 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The hybrid dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating with MIUI 8 on top of it and has a 4100 mAh battery to get this phone running. The smartphone also houses a fingerprint scanner, which is placed on its back panel.
Further, the smartphone offers a 13-megapixel Autofocus rear camera with dual tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 Aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS with AGS/GLONASS and USB Type C port. The handset measures 151 x 76 x 8.45 mm and weighs 175 grams.
If we talk about unannounced third variant of Redmi Note 4X, it will have 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage and expected to be powered by more powerful processor than the Snapdragon 625. As per report in gizmochina website, the processor company might consider would be Snapdragon 653 SoC, which was unveiled few months back. Moreover, this high-end variant is expected to be priced around CNY1300 (approximately Rs12,649).
