Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G officially teased, could be the thinnest dual-5G phone

Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G is claimed to be the thinnest dual-mode 5G phone in its price segment.

At the launch event of ColorOS 7 in China last week, Oppo announced that it will unveil the Reno 3 5G smartphone in December. Now it has been also confirmed that the company will launch a Pro variant as well. At Color OS 7 launch event, Oppo revealed that Oppo Reno 3 5G will be the first smartphone to get the new ColorOS 7 update.

Oppo’s Vice President and President of Global Marketing, Brian Shen, has shared an image of the Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G phone on Twitter that might be launched next month. As per the image, Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G will sport a curved display with a slim bezel on the top. The right side of the phone will feature the power button with a blue accent.

Shen also revealed that the phone will sport a slim profile of only 7.7mm. The phone is claimed to be the thinnest 5G phone in its price segment. The phone will sport a glass body. While the entire display is not visible, it could be featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The specifications of the Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G are scarce at the moment. Till now we have only heard of Oppo Reno 3 5G smartphone.Oppo Reno 3 will feature a 6.5-inch Full HD+ with 1080×2400 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 735 SoC along with 8GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage. The phone will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor as well. Oppo Reno 3 will likely run on Pie operating system with ColorOS 6. It is expected to be powered by a 4,500 mAh battery with 30W VOOC 4.0 support.

For the camera, the phone is expected to sport a rear quad-camera setup with a combination of 60-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel secondary shooter, a 13-megapixel lens and a 2-megapixel sensor. For the front, there will be a 32-megapixel selfie camera for chats and video calling.
