Oppo Reno 3 to come with punch-hole display?

Oppo Reno 3 carries support for dual-mode 5G.

Oppo is working on its next Reno series smartphone which is dubbed as Oppo Reno 3. The specifications and pricing of the upcoming Oppo smartphone were recently leaked online. Now a screenshot of the purported OPPO Reno 3 phone has also surfaced online.

A screenshot of the upcoming Reno 3 has been leaked on the Chinese microblogging website, Weibo. As per the leaked image, there is an unused white area at the top-left corner in the image. This suggests that there could be a punch-hole at the top-left corner on the display. The screenshot also suggests that the phone carries support for 5G. We advise our readers to take this leak with a pinch of salt.

Oppo introduced ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 in China last week which was followed by its launch in India as well yesterday. At Color OS 7 launch event in China, Oppo revealed that Oppo Reno 3 5G will be the first smartphone to get the new ColorOS 7 update.

Oppo Reno 3 is rumoured to be priced at 3,299 Yuan (approx. Rs 33,200) for the 8 + 128 GB storage variant and 3,599 Yuan (approx. Rs 36,200) for the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant.

As per the earlier leak, Oppo Reno 3 will feature a 6.5-inch Full with 1080×2400 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and 6 protection. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 735 along with 8GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage. The phone will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor as well.

For the camera, the phone is expected to sport a rear quad-camera setup with a combination of 60-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel secondary shooter, a 13-megapixel lens and a 2-megapixel sensor. For the front, there will be a 32-megapixel selfie camera for chats and video calling.

Oppo Reno 3 will likely run on Android Pie operating system with ColorOS 6. It is expected to be powered by a 4,500 battery with 30W VOOC 4.0 support.
