Oppo A9 new variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage launched

The smartphone is now available for reservations and sale will kick start from 10th May onwards.

Oppo A9 smartphone with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage was made official in China last week, now a new variant of Oppo A9 with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage has been made official. The Oppo A9 with 4GB RAM is priced at Yuan 1399 (approx Rs 14,317) and is now available for reservations. The sale will kick start on 10th May.

Oppo A9 comes with 6.53-inch FHD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) display along with 90.7 per cent screen-to-body ratio and waterdrop-style notch design. The display is protected by 5 and comes equipped with 2.1GHz octa-core MediaTek P70 processor coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The phone comes with an option to expand the storage up-to 256GB via card. It also houses a fingerprint sensor at the back as well.

As far as cameras are concerned, Oppo A9 has a dual rear camera setup with a combination of 16MP primary sensor and 2MP depth sensor with Dual tone LED flash. On the front, it has another 16MP AI sensor for selfies. The device runs on Android Pie based on Color OS 6 and is backed up by a 4020mAh non-removable battery. Connectivity options include Dual SIM, VoLTE, WiFi, GPS, with and a MicroUSB port. The phone measures 162 x 76.1 x 8.3 mm and weighs 190 grams. It also houses a GameBoost 2.0 game acceleration engine for gaming geeks and it comes with built-in OPPO’s new AI assistant Breeno as well.
