Oppo has quietly launched its new smartphone in China, the Oppo A9. The smartphone is priced at Yuan 1699 and it will go on sale on April 30th in the country. The Oppo A9 comes in three different colours- Mica Green, Ice Jade White and Fluorite Purple.
The Oppo A9 features a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with a screen Resolution 2340 x 1080 pixels along with 90.7 per cent screen-to-body ratio and waterdrop-style notch design. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Oppo A9 comes equipped with 2.1GHzocta-core MediaTek P70 processor along withwithMali-G72 MP3 GPU and it is paired it with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with an option to expand the memory upto 256GB via microSD card. It sports a fingerprint sensor at the back panel.
For the optics, it houses a dual rear camera setup having 16MP AI sensor and 2MP depth sensor with Dual tone LED flash. On the front, it has another 16MP AI sensor for selfies and video chats. It also comes with GameBoost 2.0 game acceleration engine for gaming geeks. The Oppo A9 runs on Android Pie based on Color OS 6 and gets its juices from a 4020mAh non-removable battery. Connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual standby, VoLTE, WiFi, GPS, A-GPS with GLONASS and a MicroUSB port. Moreover, it comes with built-in OPPO’s new AI assistant Breeno. The phone measures162x76.1×8.3mm and weighs 190 grams.
