As promised earlier, OnePlus has launched theOnePlus TV Q1 andOnePlus TV Q1 Pro alongside the OnePlus 7T smartphoneat an event in New Delhi, India. TheOnePlus TV Q1 and OnePlus TV Q1 Pro will be available for Rs 69,900 and Rs 99,900 respectively fromSeptember 28 on Amazon.in, OnePlus.in andOnePlus exclusive stores.
Customers can avail a Rs4000 and Rs 5000 instant discounts on purchase of theOnePlus TV Q1 and OnePlus TV Q1 Pro respectively by paying throughHDFC Bank Credit and Debit cards from October 5. The TVs will also be available on No-cost EMI of up to six months on Amazon India across major debit and credit cards.
The standard OnePlus TV Q1 features a 55-inch 4K QLED screen with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9. OnePlus TV Q1 Pro comes with a 55-inch QLED display with a 100Hz refresh rate and 90 local dimming zones. The displays are powered by a dedicated ‘Gamma Color Magic’ image Processor with wide colour gamut of 100 percent on NTSC and 96 percent on DCI-P3. The TV supports Dolby Vision, Dolby Digital and HDR10. The display addiitionally comes with Super resolution algorthm, contrast enhancement, noise reduction, colour enhanement, colour brightening, MEMC and De-contour.
The TVs run on Android TV with promised updates for three years and Oxygen Play for content screening. The home screen features several options including choosing between categories – Movies, TV Shows, Music and Kids. There’s a search bar on the top left where users can search for a title or a real-time program. Other information on the home screen includes WiFi strength, profile icon and Settings button.Additionally, the TVs come with WiFi sharing, TypeSync, Search and play, screenshots sharing, quick App switch, smart volume control and trackpad control. The TV will come with apps likePrime Video, YouTube, Google Play Movies, Hotstar, ErosNow, Zee5, Hungama and SonyLiv preinstalled.
The TV is bundled with a remote that can trigger Google Assistant. There are circular buttons for different commands and a dedicated button for Amazon Prime Video. At the top, there’s a square-shaped module in black which can be used as a D-pad to navigate inside the TV interface. Volume adjustment buttons are present on the right edge. The remote can be charged using the USB Type-C port at the bottom. Users can also use their OnePlus TV with smartphones through the OnePlus Connect app to navigate, quick switch between apps and turn ON/OFF the TV.
Connectivity options on the TVs include Dual-Band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, an ethernet port, four HDMI and three USB ports. OnePlus TV Q1 equips dual speakers with a total of 50W sound output through 4 speakers, OnePlus TV Q1 Pro has a 50W speaker unit comprising of eight speakers, six on the front and two at the back, with support for Dolby Atmos. The speaker unit slides from under the TV and pops out when needed.
