OnePlus 6 became the fastest-selling OnePlus device as the company revealed yesterday that it sold 1 million units of its flagship device in under 22 days. The device was launched alongside the Marvel Avengers Limited Edition and the newest Bullets Wireless earphones less than a month ago and have been on sale in India, China, Europe and the US, the latter two selling out the Silk White Limited Edition in under 24 hours.
The #NeverSettle brand, despite packing in a corny design and feature elements has hit the 1 million mark in terms of the unit sold which is primely due to the cheaper price that it sells the ‘flagship killer’ device at. While it took the OnePlus 6 22 days to achieve this feat, the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T each took more than three months to cross the 1 million mark, revealing what smartphone needs are dissolving into.
The Chinese manufacturer has also revealed that the 256GB variant of the OnePlus6 was the most popular variant to be sold across 11 countries. These 11 countries also hosted 26 pop-up events that welcomed 15,000 guests across the world following the launch event.
As a sign of gratitude, OnePlus has introduced the “Community Celebration Season” which will see customers getting exciting offers from June 15 to June 26. During the course of these 12 days, OnePlus will be offering a Rs 2,000 cashback to users who’re purchasing the OnePlus 6 through Citibank Debit/Credit cards with no cost EMI for three months.
