OnePlus launched its flagship OnePlus 6 earlier last month which came alongside the latest OnePlus Bullets earphones to match Apple’s AirPods and Google Pixel Buds. The company’s first wireless earphones have now been launched in India and will go on sale on June 19 through OnePlus’ online store and Amazon India and will be priced at Rs 3,990.
The successor to the OnePlus Bullets V2 now come with 92mm drivers inside the company’s Energy Tube structure which is made of a non-metallic mineral and silica gel for reduced Frequency distorting and enhanced cancellation of ambient noise. The Qualcomm aptX codec provides clear highs and crispy vocals but the earphones fail to be punchy in the bass department.
The latest bullets feature a weather-resistant design, meaning the earphones will be able to bear small showers of rain and splashes of water. That said the Bullets Wireless aren’t certified with any kind of IP rating like the OnePlus 6, so beware of drowning it under water.
OnePlus has designed the new earpieces with magnetic switching which means music will stop playback when the two earbuds are clipped together. Similarly, music will resume when the earpieces are snapped apart. The new bullets save you power by turning off when the earphones aren’t connected to your smartphone for more than five minutes.
The Bullet wireless earphones come with a new in-line remote control which will let you control the volume levels and play/pause music. Furthermore, you can trigger the Google Assistant on long-pressing the Play button allowing you to interact with Google wirelessly through voice commands.
With an included Dash Charge USB Type-C Charger, the Bullets Wireless will be able to last you up to 5 hours with just 10 minutes of charging. The earphones can charge up fully within 30 minutes after which the device will be able to play music for 8 hours.
The OnePlus Bullets Wireless will be available in Black color starting June 19 at 12 PM through Amazon India and OnePlus’ website for an asking price of Rs 3,990.
