OnePlus has finally introduced its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 6, at an event in London. The smartphone comes with a price tag of EUR 519 for the 6GB RAM variant and EUR 569 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and EUR 619 for 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option. The phone comes in Mirror Black with a glossy finish, Midnight Black with a matte finish and Silver White with a matte finish and rose gold edges colour options. The Silver White colour option will be available from June 5.
The major highlight of the device is the new glass design at the back with company’s horizon line along with an iPhone X-like notch on the front. The phone is equipped with 6.28-inch Full HD+ AMOLED Display with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Processor along with Adreno 609 GPU.
The device is backed by a 6GB/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of UFS 2.1 storage options. The smartphone features dual rear cameras with a combination of 20-megapixel with Sony IMX 519 sensor and 16-megapixel Sony IMX376K sensor along with optical image stabilization and electronic image stabilization. For the front, there is a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with company’s OxygenOS 5.1 running on top of it. The phone comes loaded with gesture navigations and Gaming Mode that enhances the gaming experience.
The phone comes loaded with a fingerprint sensor at the back panel, which the brand claims can unlock the phone in just 0.2 seconds and Face Unlock feature that can unlock the phone in 0.4 seconds. The OnePlus 6 features 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge technology, which gives a day’s power in half hour. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, GPS, NFC, Dual-SIM and USB Type-C port.
