Chinese smartphone maker Nubia is working on its next smartphone – Nubia Z18. Recently, Nubia CEO Ni Fei released a new poster on Weibo to reveal the Nubia smartphone will be featuring Full Screen 3.0 design. Now the smartphone has been spotted on GeekBench Benchmarking website with model number Nubia NX606J. The listing has revealed the expected specifications of the upcoming device.
In the GeekBench listing via GizmoChina, the Nubia Z18 got 2344 points in single-core test and in multi-core test it received 8933 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Nubia Z18 has 6GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor clocked at 1.77 GHz. The handset is based on the Android 8.1.0 Oreo operating system.
The CEO confirmed that Z18 will come with higher screen-to-body ratio than the Z17S which was launched in October last year. The Nubia Z17S featured a screen-to-body ratio of 90.36 percent.
The Nubia Z18 smartphone with model number NX606J was spotted on TENAA recently. The listing reveals that the smartphone will feature a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with a screen Resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.
The device will be backed by a 6GB and 8GB of RAM, while there will be 64GB and 128GB storage variants. On the hardware front, the device will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Chipset along with Adreno 630 GPU. The Nubia Z18 will feature a dual-camera setup at the rear with a combination of 24-megapixel primary and a secondary sensor. For the front, there will be an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.
The smartphone 3350mAh battery and it will run on Android 8.0 Oreo. There will be a fingerprint sensor at the back panel. On the connectivity front, the smartphone features 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port and dual SIM support. The phone measures 148.58 x 72.54 x 8.55mm and weighs 172 grams.
