Nubia Z17S launched with 5.73-inch bezel-less display, 8GB RAM and four cameras

The smartphone is fueled by 2.45GHz octa-core Snapdragon 835 64-bit 10nm processor coupled with the Adreno 540 GPU.

Chinese smartphone brand ZTE has today launched Nubia Z17S smartphone in China. The Nubia Z17S comes in two variants – 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage priced at 2999 Yuan which is approximately Rs 29,610 and 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage priced at 3999 Yuan which is approximately Rs 39,510. It will be available for sale from October 19 in China. The Nubia Z17S comes in Black and Blue colour options.

The Nubia Z17S features a 5.73-inch full (2040 x 1080 pixels) display with protection. The screen has an aspect ratio of about 17:9 and sports DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, with colour saturation of 96 percent. It is fueled by 2.45GHz octa-core Snapdragon 835 64-bit 10nm processor coupled with the Adreno 540 GPU. The smartphone comes with 6GB/8GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB of internal storage with no support for SD card expansion. The smartphone runs on 7.1.1 Nougat operating system based Nubia 5.1 on top and gets its strength from a non-removable 3100mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 fast-charging technology. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device.

On the camera front, the Nubia Z17S features four cameras – two at the rear and two at the front. For the rear, it has a 12-megapixel primary camera with Sony IMX362 sensor, 1.4μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, 1/2.55″ CMOS sensor, dual-tone LED flash and a 23-megapixel auxiliary camera Sony IMX318 sensor, f/2.0 aperture.

The device has a dual front camera setup compromising of both 5-megapixel for selfies and video chats with f/2.2 and 79.9-degree wide-angle lens. Besides, the smartphone offers LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), 4.1, GPS, Type C and NFC. The handset measures 147.46 x 72.69 x 8.5 mm and weighs 170 grams.
