HMD Global hasscheduled an event on December 5in Dubai in which the company is expected to launch a couple of smartphones. One of them was expected to be Nokia 9 PureView to make debut. Now it seems like the smartphone will not be official on December 5. Rather, the phone will be announcedby the end of December.
Nokia community (@nokiamobileru) on its Twitter handle has revealed that Nokia 9 PureView launch has been postponed due to unknown reasons. The decision to delay the launch is made by its chiefproduct officer, Juho Sarvikas.
The tweet reads “Nokia 9 will not present on December 5.”. In another tweet it says “Add that the postponement of the announcement of the Nokia 9 – individual decision Juho Sarvikas @sarvikas. But the flagship was supposed to be on the shelves of your stores in December…#nokia9#hmd#nokiamobile“.

The specifications of Nokia 9 PureView haven’t been revealed yet. As per rumours, the smartphone will have a primary 22MP camera. Earlier Leaked images have shown the allegedNokia 9phone with five rear cameras and Zeiss branding.
Other rumoured specifications include a large 5.9-inch Quad-HD display with 18:9 aspect ratio, coupled with a Snapdragon 845 Chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone is also rumoured to be the first Nokia smartphone sporting an in-display fingerprint sensor.Nokia 9 Pureview will not have any 3.5 mm Headphone jack and feature a USB Type-C port. It will be backed up by4150 mAh battery along with water and dustproof ratings.
