Meizu 16s Pro passes 3C certification in China, launch imminent?

Meizu 16s Pro will come with UP0830S charger which carries support for up to 24W fast charging.

Meizu launched flagship Meizu 16s smartphone in China in April this year. Now the company is working on an advanced version of the Meizu 16s phone which will be dubbed as Meizu 16s Pro. The upcoming smartphone with model number M973Q phone has now got the necessary 3C certification in China.

Since the Meizu 16s phone has a model number of M971Q, it is expected that the M973Q phone could be the Meizu 16s Pro. The listing indicates the launch of the said smartphone is around the corner.

Although the 3C certification did not reveal much, it has revealed that the Meizu 16s Pro will come with UP0830S charger which carries support for up to 24W fast charging. To recall, the Meizu 16s is also equipped with 24W rapid charging. Apart from this, the certification documents also confirm that the phone will have connectivity.

To recall, the Meizu 16s features a 6.2-inch full-HD+ Super with 2232×1080 resolution and 91.53 percent screen-to-body ratio. The Meizu 16s comes equipped with octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and is backed up by a 3600mAh non-removable battery with 24W support.

For the optics, the smartphone bears a dual rear camera setup with a combination of a 48MP primary Sony IMX586 sensor, F/1.7 with LED flash and a 20MP secondary telephoto lens with Sony IMX350 sensor. On the front, it has 20MP Samsung 3T2 sensor for selfies. The device runs on Flyme OS 8 based on 9.0 Pie and has in-display fingerprint sensor.
