As reported earlier, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is all set to launch Honor V9 in China on February 21st. But it seems the company will be probably launching an international variant of the device, known Honor 8 Pro, at the Mobile World Congress 2017 (MWC) in Barcelona.
According to a Russian website, Hi-Tech, the company will unveil the device during the trade show and it will reportedly come with better specs and features as compared to the Honor 8. The international version of the Honor V9 earlier spotted on the Chinese regulatory site, TENAA, bearing a model number ‘DUK-TL30’ followed by the leak couple of new specifications, alongside expected pricing and image of the device.

The smartphone will feature a 5.7-inch Quad HD display with a screen Resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixel, an upgrade from 5.5-inch Full HD display of Honor 8. Under the hood, there will be a 2.4GHz Kirin 960 octa-core Processor coupled with Mali M71 GPU. The smartphone will also have an option to expand the storage up-to128GB via microSD card.
The smartphone is touted come with a dual-camera setup, which will come with a combination of 12-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors, while for the front there be will an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video chats. The device will be juiced by a 3900/4000mAh battery and will run on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The alleged Honor V9 will be priced at Yuan 2699, which is approximately Rs 26,436. The smartphone measures 157 × 77.5 × 6.97mm and weighs 184 grammes.
