After launching the HTC U12+ smartphone in India recently, the company seems now to be working on a phone dubbed “Imagine Life” – aka HTC U12 Life.
The specs of HTC U12 Life has been leaked via Android Authority. The leak shows that the smartphone will have a 6-inch display with 1,080 x 2,160 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.
It will be powered by Snapdragon 636 Chipset with eight Kryo 260 cores which will be coupled with 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage which can be expandable via a microSD card slot. For the camera, the U12 Life will reportedly have dual rear cameras of 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel sensors with 4K video recording. For the front, it will have a 13-megapixel selfie camera with a selfie flash.
The smartphone will be backed up by 3,600mAh. It will also have a fingerprint sensor. The Android version of the U12 Life is not known at the moment. The company, however, is yet to confirm the existence of the U12 Life.
To recall, the U12+ sports a bezel-less 6-inch Quad HD+ Super LCD display with a screen resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels along with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The phone also comes with sec generation Edge Sense feature, through which users can squeeze the phone to launch different features. With the Edge Sense 2, you can also Hold for Smart Rotate and Smart Dim or Double tap for a mini screen for easy one-handed use. On the imaging front, the U12+ features a dual rear camera with a combination of 12-megapixel wide-angle lens with 1.4-micron pixel size, f/1.75 Aperture and a 16-megapixel telephoto lens with 1.0-micron pixel size, f/2.6 aperture. For the front also, there is a dual-camera setup as well with a combination of two 8-megapixel sensors with 1.12-micron pixel size, f/2.0 aperture.
The phone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 2.6GHz octa Processor and it comes in two storage variants one with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, while the other sports a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The memory can be further expanded via micro SD card slot. The phone also includes a Face Unlock which allows users to access the phone simply by staring at the screen. HTC U12+ runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with HTC Sense UI on top of it. The phone is backed by a 35000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.
