With a week left for the official launch, the Honor 20 has now been revealed in the form of official pictures. The pictures now confirm that the standard Honor 20 will feature a hole-punch display and four cameras at the back, much like its more expensive Pro sibling.
The official-like pictures have been leaked by a WinFuture, revealing the front and back side of the standard Honor 20 smartphone. On first glance, the Honor 20 features a hole-punch which is visible on the top-left corner of the phone. The punch-hole will save the space for the front camera which will be a 32MP imaging unit. The display will span to up to 6.26-inch with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a Pixel density of 412 ppi.
The pictures also reveal the back side of the Honor 20 in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue colours. As revealed in the camera specifications discussed last week, the Honor 20 will equip a 48MP main camera (second from the top) which will be a Sony IMX586 1/2-inch sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 1.6μm pixel size and 4-in-1 Light fusion technology. The main camera on the Honor 20 will be accompanied by a 16MP (first from the top) super wide angle lens with 117-degree field of view (f/2.2 aperture), a 2MP (at the bottom of the camera layout) depth assist sensor (1.75μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture) and a 2MP (on the right of the depth sensor) Macro lens with f/2.4 Aperture and 1.75μm pixel size.
The leak also reveals other key specifications of the phone. The Honor 20 will thus be powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 980 Chipset with at least 6GB RAM, 128 GB of internal flash memory and 3750mAh battery with 22.5W SuperCharge technology. The device will run on Android 9 Pie with Magic UI 2.1. Connectivity options include dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C and support for virtual 9.1 surround sound.
The Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro will be unveiled on May 21.
