Here’s a picture of OnePlus 6 tweeted by Amitabh Bachchan, super slow-mo camera teased

The OnePlus 6 is arriving in India on May 17 as part of the global launch and will come in Black and White variants as seen in the picture.

As the world awaits the next instalment from OnePlus, the upcoming flagship OnePlus 6 has now made its way to the hands of Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan. The legendary actor appears to have been demonstrated about the new device by OnePlus CEO Pete Lau and a picture of the two was tweeted by Bachchan.

The tweet which revealed the phone in Midnight Black and White variants has since been removed. But from the picture that was ‘accidentally’ tweeted, we can see that the glass-clad device appear to be the in line with what the OnePlus CEO earlier confirmed about the device.

Zooming in further into the picture, we can confirm that OnePlus 6 will now feature a vertically aligned dual camera setup which makes its way to the centre of the back as opposed to near-to-edge placed setup in its predecessor. The picture showed Lau holding the white variant of the OnePlus 6 which looks to have a matte finish at the back while the one on Bachchan’s hands is the Black version of the flagship phone that retains the glossy back panel.

OnePlus also teased a new video about their upcoming phone with a tweet that read “Let’s slow down time!”, confirming that the OnePlus 6 will now come with Super Slow-Mo capabilities as well. The video shows various things we as users would want to shoot on a slow-motion camera and displays things like a watermelon, a light bulb, bubble pop and more. With the Galaxy S9 and Sony XZ2 employing a 960fps sensor to shoot slow motion videos, it remains to be seen how OnePlus outbids its flagship rivals since it’s opting to stay ahead, trend-wise.

The OnePlus 6 will be announced in India on May 17 following which the device will go on pre-sale at pop-up events across 8 cities in the country. The OnePlus smartphone will also come in a Limited Edition Avengers variant and will start selling in India for Rs 36,999. With a launch event set to be held at theNSCI Dome in Mumbai, OnePlus is now selling entry tickets for the event for a price of Rs 999 which can be bought at oneplus.in.
