Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new postpaid plan of Rs 798 for its subscribers. The plan competes with Airtel’s Rs 799 postpaid plan.
This plan is only available in the Karnataka circle as of now, reports Telecom Talk. Under the new BSNL plan, users will get unlimited local and STD calls, a whopping 120GB of 2G/3G data, 100 SMS per day and a free one-year Amazon Prime subscription. However, it is to be noted that this plan of BSNL does not come with data carry forward option. Users will have to use the 120GB data in a single month, otherwise, it’ll lapse.
With this plan, BSNL is offering only 2G and 3G services as BSNL is yet to introduce its 4G services in the country. But the telecom operator is testing 4G connectivity in some parts of the country.
If we compare the BSNL plan with Airtel Rs 799 plan, Airtel is offering 100GB of 2G/3G/4G data, unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS per day, free Amazon Prime subscription for one year and free Netflix subscription for three months.
BSNL recently launched a new prepaid plan of Rs 1,312 for its customers with a year-long validity means 365 days. The plan offers unlimited local/ STD/ Roaming voice calls to any network (except Mumbai and New Delhi), 5GB of data and 1,000 SMS messages.
