Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new Prepaid plan of Rs 1,312 for its subscribers with a year-long validity. This recharge option presently available in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circles.
As per the new Rs 1,312 plan, BSNL will offer its users unlimited local/ STD/ Roaming voice calls to any network (except Mumbai and New Delhi where BSNL does not have operations), 5GB of data and 1,000 SMS messages. The plan comes with a validity of 365 days and it also offers Personalized Ring Back Tone (PRBT) for a whole year.
Additionally, subscribers recharging for the Rs 1,312 recharge are not allowed to avail the benefits of full talk through top-ups of the denomination of Rs 500, Rs 1,100, Rs 1,500, Rs 2,000, Rs 2,200, Rs 2,500, and Rs 3,000.
BSNL also offers two other yearly plans of Rs 1,699 and Rs 2,099 for a validity period of 365 days. The Rs 1,699 tariff plan offers 2GB data per day. After the usage hits the FUP (Fair Usage Policy) limit, BSNL will offer speed of 80 Kbps. This plan also offers unlimited local, STD and national roaming calls, 100 SMSes per day and free hello tune.
Rs 2,099 annual prepaid plan offers 4GB data per day along with an after FUP speed of 80 Kbps, unlimited voice calling to any network located within India, 100 SMSes per day and free PRBT for 365 days.
The Rs 1,312 plan competes with Reliance Jio’s long-term Rs 1,699 prepaid pack which also comes with a validity of 365 days. Jio plan offers 1.5GB data per day, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS messages per day. Subscribers also get a complimentary subscription to Jio apps.
