The Rs 1,699 plan has been introduced to compete with Reliance Jio’s recently released long-termRs 1,699 prepaid pack which also comes with a validity of 365 days.
The Rs 1,699 tariff plan offers its customers a total of 2GB data per day. After the usage hits the FUP (Fair Usage Policy) limit, BSNL will offer speed of 80 Kbps. Apart from offering data benefits, this plan also offers unlimited local, STD and national Roaming calls. The calls can be even made to the numbers located in Mumbai and Delhi circles. Then, there are 100 SMSes per day and free hello tune being offering by BSNL in this plan for a period of 365 days.

Comparing the BSNL’s Rs 1,699 plan with Reliance Jio’s latest long-term plan Rs 1,699 plan, BSNL plan is offering more data benefit. BSNL is providing a total of 730GB with its Prepaid plan of Rs 1,699 while Jio plan offers 547GB of data for 365 days. This means users will get 1.5GB of data per day. The pack also offers unlimited voice calls on local, STD and national roaming without any FUP limit along with 100 SMS per day.
