BSNL introduces ‘Rakhi pe Saugaat’ offer with 1GB data, unlimited calls for Rs 74

The offer provides 1GB of data along with unlimited calls for just Rs 74.

State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced a new plan ahead of Raksha Bandhan. Dubbed as ‘Rakhi pe Saugaat’, the offer provides 1GB of data along with unlimited calls for just Rs 74.
Under this offer, users will get unlimited voice calls on any BSNL network. Further, users will get Rs 74 value, so that they can make calls on other networks. The pack comes with a validity of 5 days and the offer will launch on August 3. Further, the pack will be available for 12 days only. The company has also introduced some recharge options of Rs 389, Rs 189 or Rs 289 to avail the benefits of the plan.
Previously, the company also introduced a new pack for its prepaid customers known as Sixer 666. The latest pack brings unlimited calls and data benefits for Rs 666.
To start with users will get 2GB of data per day for 60 days, which makes a total count of 120GB of data. Further, users will also get unlimited voice calls to any network as well. R.K. Mittal, Director (CM), BSNL Board, said “BSNL offers best prices & plan to our mobile customers considering the present trend of usability in the industry. We are committed to providing affordable and efficient services to all segments of our mobile customers.”

Meanwhile, Vodafone also introduced a new plan aimed at students, which offers unlimited voice calls along with 1GB of 4G/3G data per day. Dubbed as ‘Vodafone Campus Survival Kit’, the plan comes with a validity of 84 days.
The scheme is only valid for a new connection and comes with a price tag of Rs 445. Under this kit, students will get unlimited voice calls along with above-mentioned data, discount coupons from Ola, Zomato among others and a messenger bag. However, the scheme is only available for Delhi-NCR region, but the company has said that it is looking forward to launching the scheme across the country in a phased manner. Further, upon subsequent recharges, users will have to pay Rs 352 only.
