Samsung launched Galaxy Tab A 10.5 in India last year for Rs 29,990. Now seems like the company is working on a new tablet. A new Samsung device has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking website with a model number SM-P205, which is said to be the successor of the Galaxy Tab A 10.1. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 was launched in India in the year 2016.
As per the Geekbench listing via NashVilleChatterClass, the alleged Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2019) will be powered by Exynos 7885 Chipset coupled with 3GB RAM. As per the report, the device could be equipped with 32 GB of internal storage and it will be releasing in colours like black and grey.
For the software, the tablet will be running on the Android 9 Pie operating system out-of-the-box. In the listing, the Samsung tablet has scored 1329 in the single-core test and 4150 in the multi-core test.
It is likely that Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2019 could come with an S-Pen stylus. Samsung tablets that came with S Pen have had the “P” letter in their model numbers. For instance, SM-P580 and SM-P585 Galaxy Tab A 10.1 variants came with S-Pen stylus.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2019) is expected to go official in the first quarter of this year. It is also very likely that Samsung might make an appearance at the Galaxy S10 Unpacked event or at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) event to be held later this month.
