Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 launched with 3GB RAM, S-Pen support

With S-Pen, the tablet can recognize variable levels of pressure, allowing you to make thicker lines.

Samsung had launched Galaxy Tab A 10.1 tablet in its home country, South Korea, in June this year at 359,000 won (approximately Rs 21,047) for the WiFi only model and 399,000 won (approximately Rs 23,391) for the LTE model. Now Samsung has unveiled a new version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 with S-Pen support. The new version also comes with an enhanced 3GB RAM and 32GB as compared to 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory of the previous version. The price of the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 with S Pen is about €350 (approximately Rs 26,275). Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 with S Pen was first spotted by WinFuture on Samsung’s South Korean website.

The S-Pen comes with the new Air Command feature that allows users to translate words in images and text documents. Aside from this, the stylus allows users to create and share GIF animations with the Smart Select tool. The tablet can recognize variable levels of pressure, allowing you to make thicker lines by pressing harder.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 has a 10.1-inch WUXGA (1920×1200 pixel) display. It is powered by a 1.6 GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor, which is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be further boosted to up to 256GB via a micro SD card. The tablet runs on latest 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a huge 7300 battery.

The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 boasts an 8-megapixel camera that comes along with an LED flash and a 2-megapixel selfie camera. Further, the tablet offers LTE (Model dependent),WiFi, 4.2, GPS/GLONASS, and a port. The tablet measures 155.3 x 254.2 x 8.2 mm and weighs around 525 grams.
