Alleged First image of Honor Note 9 leak suggest dual-camera setup, large bezel-less display

The alleged image shows the back panel of the device, which carries a dual-camera setup.

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor seems to be working on the successor of its Note 8, which would be alleged named as Honor Note 9, as a new image of the smartphone has been leaked online.

The alleged image shows the back panel of the device, which carries a dual-camera setup. However, the smartphone design looks atad similar to Apple iPhones, but then again we have seen a lot of smartphones getting ‘inspired’ by this design.

Moving on, there is a fingerprint sensor at the back and one can see Honor branding at the base. The lines can be found at the top and at the base. Judging by its giant size, one could easily relate that it will indeed feature a large screen display, as we have seen in Honor Note 8. Multiple reports suggest that the device will feature a bezel-less design.

Coming to the specifications, the device is reported to come loaded with company’s in-house Kirin 960 and may boast a display like the Note 8. However, the information about the device is grim at the moment, and there is no official word about the device, so we suggest you take this report with a pinch of salt.

To recall, Honor has announced Honor Note 8 smartphone in China way back in August last year. The smartphone comes in three storage variants- a 32GB model at 2299 Yuan (approximately Rs 23,117), a 64GB model at 2499 Yuan (approximately Rs 25,128), and a 128GB model at 2799 Yuan (approximately Rs 28,144).

The Honor Note 8 features a massive 6.6-inch Quad (2K) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a 2.5GHz octa-core (2.5 GHz quad-core + 1.8GHz quad core) Kirin 955 processor, which is clubbed with Mali-T880GPU and 4GB of RAM. All the three variants have 128GB micro card slot.

The device has a 13-megapixel primary camera with PDAF and dual tone flash lights. In the front, it has an 8-megapixel wide-angle snapper for selfies and video calling. The smartphone runs on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 4500 mAh battery. The Honor Note 8 houses a fingerprint scanner on the back panel and has a reversible USB type-C port as well. Besides, it offers dual SIM (dual standby), and comes with all basic connectivity functions. The handset is just 7.18mm thick and weighs around 219 grams.
