Honor has announced to launch its much speculated Honor Note 8 smartphone in China. The smartphone comes in three storage variants- a 32GB model at 2299 Yuan (approximately Rs 23,117), a 64GB model at 2499 Yuan (approximately Rs 25,128), and a 128GB model at 2799 Yuan (approximately Rs 28,144). The Honor Note 8 is now up for pre-order and will be available from August 9 onwards in China.
The Honor Note 8 features a massive 6.6-inch Quad HD (2K) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by a 2.5GHz octa-core (2.5 GHz quad core + 1.8GHz quad core) Kirin 955 processor, which is clubbed with Mali-T880GPU and 4GB of RAM. All the three variants have 128GB micro SD card slot.
The Honor Note 8 has a 13-megapixel primary camera with PDAF and dual tone LED flash lights. In the front, it has an 8-megapixel wide-angle snapper for selfies and video calling. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 4500 mAh battery. The Honor Note 8 houses a fingerprint scanner on the back panel and has a reversible USB type-C port as well. Besides, it offers dual SIM (dual standby), 4G LTE and comes with all basic connectivity functions. The handset is just 7.18mm thick and weighs around 219 grams.
