Bharti Airtel re-launched the Rs 649 postpaid plan in April this year. Now the company has revised the Rs 649 plan and now it is offering 90GB data of 3G/4G data per month instead of 50GB it was offering earlier. The other Airtel postpaid plans are Rs 399, Rs 499, Rs 799, and Rs 1,199. But only Rs 649 plan has been revised by the company.
So, from now onwards, the Airtel Rs 649 postpaid plan now offers 90GB of data, reports TelecomTalk. The plan comes with data rollover facility, so the unused data will be rolled over to next month as well. Apart from data benefits, Airtel has not changed other benefits of the plan. It offers the same unlimited voice calls even on roaming, 100 SMS per day, one free family child connection, free Airtel TV, Wynk Music and Airtel Secure subscriptions. Lastly, this plan also offers one-year of free Amazon Prime membership for the users.
Airtel recently announced the launch of a new Rs 597 prepaid plan for its users in India to compete against Reliance Jio. The Rs 597 plan from Airtel offers voice calling benefits for the long-term and it comes with a validity of 168 days. However, it offers only 10GB of data for the entire period. The plan offers unlimited voice calls without any FUP limit. Apart from this, the user will also get 100 SMS per day for 168 days, so it will offer 16800 total SMSes.
Meanwhile in a related news, Airtel recently beat Reliance Jio, Vodafone in the speed test in Delhi NCR region, according to the latest report released by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
